I have no idea how long the Gearbox Oil Cooler fuse has been missing but the car appears to run cool. I tested the Gearbox Oil Cooler fuse slot with an ohm meter and there no electrical current is running through the circuit. Is there another way to test the Gearbox Oil Cooler to see if it’s working properly?
A little background - I bought the car from the grandson of the original owner who died 2 years ago. The non-mechanically inclined grandson drove the car for the last 2 years and put approximately 15,000 miles on the car and he never knew the Gearbox Oil Cooler fuse was missing and the car never overheated on him. The seller told me the only time the car ran hot was prior to his grandfather passing away and the heating problem was fixed with new head gaskets.
