1987 300TD Rear Seats Won't Fold Down
[ul][*]I can't fold down the seats in my 1987 300TD. I have found the little ***** on each side (push? pull?), which apparently are supposed to release the seats, but they seem to have no effect. By judicious application of brute force, I was able to fold them down once, but I had to put them back up for a passenger. I'm afraid the brute force routine will damage either me or the car. Is there some trick that I am missing? If not, how can I repair the release mechanism?[/ul]
