I have a large plastic rectangular object that is hanging and it is about to fall off. It seems to be there to protect something vital. Its location is to the left of the right rear tire, it seems to be underneath the right rear passenger seatsection . I brought the car to the mechanic about 6 months ago for the same problem because the thing fell off. He seems to have repaired it with the metal from those disposable metal hangers. What is this part called and what can i buy to properly install this object so that it wont fall again. Id prefer the proper mercedes srew bolts or whatever holds this thing to the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might be the cover for the fuel pump.
