Can anyone offer some advice please. I have a 1986 190e with 150k on it. The car stood for 2 years when we bought it and I thought this fault was just from sitting as long but now appears this is not the case. The car starts from cold but stops after 5-10 seconds when the cold start choke cuts out, it will eventually start but idles at about 1500 rpm. . The engine idles roughly but is firing on all cylinders with good spark, Fuel pressure is good after changing the fuel pressure regulater as the diaphram was leaking however this has still not solved the high rough idle. I cannot find any vacuum leaks. Any Suggestions please ?
