I can tell you about my experience..

I bought my 190E, 2.3, 1991 three years ago with 105Kmiles in Chicago
from a second owner thru a local shop, advertised in a local magazine.
Its a wonder baby Benz, provided you maintain it properly.

I take good care of it and has done 145K miles so far.It runs very smooth.
The previous two owners also kept it well. I still have all the service record
and original owners manuals, radio codes.

You need to spendlittle money every monthto keep it in good shape. Don't
wait for things to break and then repair. All parts are easily available on line
and at resonable cost.

Once you buy it..make sure you do all necessary oil changes,install correct
tires, replace any broken part,use the recommended fuel only (Premium quality)
and you will havetrouble free rides everyday.

Most of the repair is DIY.

yah i understand maitnance i am kind of a car fanatic. i am gone do modifications and i understand maitneance but i dont have the biggest budget i want to get a descent car though.
