I have a 2006 CLS 500 with 46,000 miles. The car has been hesitating upon acceleration. I took it to my mechanic and I need a new transmission. The mechanic says that this is a know problem for the 2006 models. I seems really hard to believe that a car of this supposed quality would need a transmission at 46,000 miles. Is this a common problem?
