After battery disconnect Ac still wont shut off and now car wont shift outta second gear..... What could be wrong!!!!?????
I try and floor it and car starts bogging down even the downshift button under the pedal doesnt work....
No warning lights or anything []

your A/C control unit is faulty.

 

How do you delete the fault?

 

by using diagnostic computer.

 

Maybe i didnt leave the battery disconnected long enough for the ac? Did it for about 5 mins...

 

Is that the only way? Dealer?

 

Sorry I think I should have been more specific the car does shift from 1st 2 second but I never feel it shift after second. I got it up to 80 pressing the pedal gradually (acceleration feels normal then but still no 3rd) but never felt it shift out of 2nd and engine was racing. If I floor it forget it rpms race and goes slow. Does limp mode makes the car start out stay in 2nd, or start at first hits second and stays?

 

your CLK is what year model?

if 722 transmission, the emergency mode stays on 2nd gear and only that gear and reverse will work.

 

98 clk320.... Then It cant be limp mode can it? I mean I clearly feel and hear it shift from first to second. What else could it be? Sorry so many questions.
