Default Problem with CLK320 Door / Window

Hello:
We recently purchased a 1998 CLK320. When we purchased the car the driver's side door was hard to close because it had sagged a few degrees. We had it adjusted by a local Mercedes mechanic. It now appears that the window in that door is travelling too far up and keeping the door from closing without slamming it. Has anyone run into this problem? Is the window travel adjustable? If so, can you give me instructions on how to do the adjustment. (Note: I have already found a good description of how to remove the door panel on this forum.) Thanks for any help you can provide.

you need to reinitialize it.

removing the battery for two minutes will denormalize the window and normalize it by using the switch.
