Default owners manual

Bonjour,
As a long time reader of this form I am now a poster. Two weeks ago I took delivery of a 2005 CLK 320 CDI. I am retiring a much appreciated w124 berline I brought with me to France from California. As it reached close to 300k miles I began to be apprehensive of large repair projects and car repair as a hobby has lost its appeal as I have grown older.

In Europe diesel fuel is still a very favored choice and the latest generation of piezoelectric injection systems remove many of the noise and rough running objections to diesel engines. This car is a joy to drive. The 7 speed automatic is so smooth and the horsepower doesn’t stop!!

My only problem is the car was delivered in Germany with a German language owners manual. I don’t read German. I read French with difficulty. So an English language manual is appropriate. I don’t think this car goes to the U.S.A. and the U.K. cars are right hand drive. So would the U.K. manual work or are there too many differences.

Comments please.
