On my wife's '05 320 CLK convertible, the FOB was working fine till the batteries went dead. Tried using the spare FOB but had sat so long the bat's on it were dead also. Changed out all the batteries, everything on the FOB indicates as it should, but will not operate doors or trunk lid. Vehicle starts fine, no other problems except for the door/trunk locks operation. I tried you tube to no avail and of course the MB dealer needs to diagnose it......

Any quick fixes or remedies you folks know of would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: I believe the antenna is located in the windshield on the convertible. There is a crack running thru the lower drivers side that cuts thru one of the wires in the glass. On a related note, the AM/FM no longer picks up stations. Can all this be related to the cracked windshield?
