Default Is this an Ipod jack?

I was just grabbing my manual out of the glove box and noticed what looked like a 3.5mm silver plug on the right hand side wall. I have not tried a plug in yet but wondering if all clk's have this little plug thing there?

I believe its the Auxiliary in, so technically you could plug your ipod in but would not be able to control it through the steering wheel....

Strange they do not mention it in the book. What do you push on the radio to switch to the Aux?

Cool, I just bought a 3.5 to 3.5 to test out. Thanks so much for the help, I will give it a shot.

OK plugged it in and nada, I tried holding the CD button in but would not change off. Any other ideas what this is for or how to use it.

do you have the comand radio? if the radio has a audio button, press that. it should show a display on comand which shows, cd, cdc, radio and aux. press the button that next to aux, and it should work. give it a try. let me know.

Actually found it, with the command radio, you hit the Svc button, scroll to Aux and bingo.. MP3. Works great.

Hi,
do you know if this would work on a 2002 CLK430?
