Hi
I have a 1999 CLK 230K and both the front and rear fog lamps have stopped working.
Checked the bulbs. No power at the lamps. checked the boot cable. Checked the fuses and both are ok.
Tested that there was power to both sides of the fuses.
Any Ideas
Where do the wires go on the out side of the fuses. Is there another connector.
I am confusedAny ideas please.
Thanks

the wire harness for the front lights goes bad and there is an updated harness for the fix which uses a new wire for ground rather than the old style. not too sure on the back light. sometimes the contacts get rusted out or the fog lamp assembly melts and then you have no rear light.

Do you think the wiring harness fault on the front could affect the back as i am not getting any voltage on the cable at the rear fog assembly. I have also checked the boot/trunk hinge harness and its ok.
Any simple diagrams around. Tried the MB "wis" electronic manual but it is extremely un friendly.
