hey guys, im new to mercedes, so i thaught this would be a good place to start, weve got a clk 500 on the lot, problem is that the reverse light on left side and the tail light on the left side wont go out, they stay on no matter what, any insight you guys can offer would be great, at least point me in the right direction.

 

incorrect bulb wattage or most likely the pins on the bulb are incorrect. compare them closely to the right side bulbs. they have slight differences. or also the taillamp could be faulty.

 

thanks for the reply, i went ahead and inspected bulbs, all seemed to match the right side, so i pulled the right side assembly and plugged it into the left plug, and it lit up just like the left side did, so im guessing that i hae a control issue somewheres, any more suggestions?
