2002 CLK 430. With lights on, it looks like there is a tail light that is "out." Specifically, right side, mounted on the trunk. When I pull the light assembly off the trunk, there is no mount for a light. The left side does not appear this way. What gives?

 

this is normal. if your not getting a warning on your cluster for a bulb out then you have no problem. this is normal for Benz,, only 1 rear fog light on the rear left.
