My CLK 320 petrol drives fine most of time, however occasionally when I stop at lights or a junction the car shudders and feels like it's going to cut out (but it never does). The engine management light is not on. This started happening when I serviced it (B service) at a local garage. I've brought it back to them but when they test drive it the problem never seems to happen. I assume it's an electrical fault....any other suggestions?

 

I have an 01 clk430 convertible and it was doing the same thing and sometimes my check engine light would come on. It ended up being 2 coils intermittently acting up. I have replaced and it runs great.

 

your car is W208 if the car is really 2002. The W209 start from 03. Have you tried to clean your maf sensor ? Also did you check the code ?
