CLK 320 Cabriolete cranks but won't start

Default CLK 320 Cabriolete cranks but won't start

Stoppped at a store for 5 minutes and came out and my 2000 320CLK cabriolete would crank over but would not start. It was like it was out of gas. Can any one please help?? Is there a fuel pump relay? If so where is it???

Crankshaft position sensor, replace it!

does it have to be reprogrammed/reset after replacement?

No. No reprogramming necessary. Within a few miles the computer will be able to adjust all its parameters back to isometric (14.5 to 1). Don't worry, just drive the car. Happy benzing!

MBTech info 100% right , I just went throught the same on my Clk 500 at 65,000 miles . I let the dealer do it . it cost me about 400.00 The part was 175.00 at the dealer part of the install .

I would have done it myself but i dont have the time or the place to work on the car .
