Hello, If I was about to spend $51,000 and had a transmission issue question I would take my own advice. This is it, ask in your local community for a recommendation of a journeyman automatic transmission mechanic who is familiar and certified with Mercedes transmissions. Make an appointment with them and ask them for advice. Be prepared to pay about 1/2 hours shop time to have it checked.or more should that be the recommendation. 3 times I have done so locally
and 2 times they told me to not buy either car after test driving it for me. The third one needed a simple $35.00 external part. Each test drive and advice
cost me $55.00 Real cheap . Allan
