2002 320 clk vert - Newbie Query
Hello to All,
I have just bought my very first Merc, as detailed above, and so far I'm loving it!!
Couple of things though, one, after a 200 mile trip, got home and took the oil cap off to see how things were going down there and I found some creamy white substance in there, not much but enough to notice. Does this mean I may have a head gasket issue in my future. The car had been used regular but only for short trips, so I'm told. There was no over heating or any other issues that I have noticed.
Secondly, I've tried to drop the roof and it seems that either I'm doing it wrong or there is a problem. I turned the ignition on, turned and released the locking mechanism up by the roof next to the light switches at which point all the windows wound down, then I pressed the red button down but nothing happened. the button itself flashed on and off. Exactly how do I do this....i know its a question I should have asked the guy I bought it from but I didnt!!
Many thanks for your assistance folks, much appreciated.
Regards
