Just bought a 2000 clk430, magma red with black interior, and chrome E500 rims. It is in perfect condition, (garaged and serviced regularly) without a single door ding, or wear/crack in the seats. It has 157,000 miles, and I paid $8,000. Let me know your opinion on this buy, and if you have a clk with higher milage? It seems to be a very solid car, my main concern is with such high milage.. how much longer will it last? Also I just had the B service done on the car, and asked about the transmission fluid. Both dealer and independent mechanic said the fluid was to last the lifetime of the trans, and it has never been changed but runs with no problems. Should I have the fluid serviced? Also is there any thing else I should have done on the car besides basic services to keep it lasting as long as possible? Just had the Crank shaft position sensor replaced. Thanks for your advice!
