2000 CLK Xenon Lights?
Hi guys do you know what it takes to upgrade a 200 clk 320 with xenon headlights. They sell bulbs all over the place esp. on ebay for the clk. According to the dealer you have to replace wiring and other headlight assemblies to get xenon - very expensive.

So are the aftermarket bulbs safe to put into my stock headlight assemblies or only if I originally have the xenon option in my car.

Thanks Manny

if so , any recommendation on where to buy them or what brand?

If you want REAL xenon lights, (not those cheap blue-tinted bulbs) then you will need to purchase a whole kit with xenon bulbs, ballasts, and necessay wirings.

I had installed the Hella 6000K kit in my 2001 CLK 430, its been on for 3 years and never hada problem.

I think it doesn't apply to the whole Asian market. Like my mom's 2000 CLK 230 Kompressor in Taiwan,Elegance trim, but no xenon lights, it was still an option. Avantgarde is the trim with standard xenon lights

2000 CLK Xenon Lights?
Hello Manny... I would suggest performance prouducts.com. They carry many high end prouducts for all of us "CLK guys". They carry a xenon hid add on kit which completely replaces stock to xenon for a starting price of around $499.00

not a bad way to go! Also, they use factory type plug-ins for easy install w/ NO splicing what so ever...Good luck! Brian .St.Paul,Mn
