2000 CLK Standard Radio won't take code...
 

Just bought this used...A new battery was put in and the radio won't even power on, not to mention accepting the code...Checked that the fuse is good...Please help! Thanks! Ben[:@]

try pulling the fuse out and putting it back in, could be a bad connection... maybe.

Thanks, Benzel! Checked the fuse and it's good. I wonder if the radio is totally dead, or can still be reprogrammed.

You can call Mercedes 1-800 and they will have your code on file. You could check to make sure the code card is correct.

Thanks for the tip...I took the car to a small shop in Santa Monica and had the radio swapped out. Cost me $350.00. The radio powered on, so my guess is that the display is bad, and should be an easy fix. The MB dealer quote was well over $1k.
