I just recently bought a used 2000 CLK 430. It has the integrated phone, minus the actuall phone. I am wondering if anyone knows if I buy an older Motorola phone, v60, and get it set up with my provider, Cingular, will it work int he cradel? When I talk with the tech at Mercedes he tells me know. Also got a link to wireless4mb.com but never get anyone on the phone. There is no way to tell from there site if it will actaully work or not. Indicates that it will but I have to get service from Cingular through them.

Any one have any ideas? Anyone want to sell me your old phone that works in the car? Don't really care that it is not the latest and greatest, collest phone out there. That seems to be what others complain about, not upgrading. I just want to be able to plug my phone in and use the hands free set up as it is.

i'm in the same boat....i don't have the cradle, but the wire is there.....when i bought the car, i could still see the outline from the cradle. i think checking out the Mixbox site (link to the right) might help some. i have not done it becasue they don't support my phone. If you don't really care about the phone, it's worth it to buy one that they support and install it....let me know what happens.

 

This one needs a bump up to the top as I am interested also. I have a 2000 CLK 430 and I see a coiled wire going up through my center console but when I open up the console I cant see where it ends. I ended up buying a small cable shown below and I am now ready to buy a phone that works with this system.
