Hey you allI just bought some 20's for my clk hopefully someone can help me out. The rears are 20x10 with 275/30/20 tires.I got those on althoughI had to roll the quarters and trim a little metal thenI put 1/8inch spacers on it. It looks so goodI was going to get different springs butI couldnt ask for it to sit any better. On the front is whereI have the problem and thequestion. What size tires shouldI use to clear the strut . I originally ordered 245/35/20 there is no way they are fitting. IthoughtI rememberedseeing a post where someone used 25 series tires anyways if anyone knows pleasetell me.

 

Yeah the only size the front can go up to is 235/35/19 . That is what i have on my clk500. The reason i know is that i had also ordered 245/35/19 for the front and they kept on rubbing in the front where the strut cover is and on the inside of the tire where it was rubbing on the control arm. maybe if you can get front wheel spacers in the front, maybe that will work. someone told me that but since the damage was already done to the tires I just changed it to the 235 size and no problems since then.
