Hi. I have MB cl500 year 2000. My battery went flat and I cant open the trunk to charge the battery. I have tried to open ytunk with spare key but it stucks in because of the dirty lock.

Please tell me is it another way to open that trunk???

 

i had the same problem once on my 2000 cl500--called a lock smith out --he used alot of wd40 and very slowly kept working the key back and forth --he eventually got the key to work after about 20 minutes --you have to be extremely gentle so as not to break your key off in it---mine seemed to be frozen solid but he was very patient--im sure you resolved your problem by now so i mostly posted it for people who might just be experiencing the problem
