Appreciate any help trying to diagnose why the windshield washers aren't working on my '95 C36. No power at the washer pump, fuse and relays test good. Pushing the button on the stalk activates the wipers but no washers.
Headlamp washers work when the lights are on as they should. Thanks in advance.

 

Hi there, I seem to be facing exactly the same problem.

I had been driving with the "washer liquid level low" indicator lit up for some time but the liquid tank was not completely empty yet. One day the windscreen washer just stopped working. I thought the tank was empty but it wasn't. I filled it up, just to be sure, but it didn't help. When I activate the washer, the wiper starts running but no liquid comes out. This is happening on my '1998 C220. The trouble is that I don't even know where to check the fuse...

So, any hint would be greatly appreciated. Did you get to fix the problem? If so, what was wrong? ...and where can I find that fuse to begin with? Thanks in advance - regards, Marek ":-)

 

Do you hear the washer pump motor run when you switch on?
If yes, the nozzles could be blocked.
If no and the fuse is OK, you may have a bad pump motor.
