Hello out there,
So i took my 2000 C230k to get the tranny seals replaced at 80,000 miles. well the mechanic told me the tranny had to be rebuilt comepletly. crap.... 2500 bucks later i get my car back, now the windows dont go up or down by the one touch of the switch as before.
They do go up and down but i have to hold the switch lightly, not just depressing it once and they go up and down automatically.
The battery was disconnected when they worked on it since my radio asked for the code.
so what now? How do i get my windows working properly? what has to be re-set? i know the switches work, the motors work. what is the malfunction here? better yet how do i fix this problem?
Thanks,
Alex.

The trick i found out is to roll down the window completely and depress and hold the button for 10 +seconds. you do this for all to all the windows and it will re-set the windows to automatically roll up/ down.
