Does anyone know where the fuel pump relay is on a 1997 C230? It is supposed to be in the rear (presumeably in the trunk), but I don't see it. I can follow the conductors from the fuel pump up through the floor-board above the rear axle, to a service plug. But then the conductors are banded together with a bunch of other cables and seem to head towards the front of the car. It is supposed to be part number A002 542 13 19. Thanks

 

For all those loosing sleep over this one, I finally found it. The fuel pump relay for a 1997 C230 is under the same cover as the ECU (under the hood)and not in the rear of the car as suggested by a Mercedes dealer.
