Stumped on a C Class changer?

Hello, I'm new to the forum and in need of some advise. I just picked up my first MB, a 2001 C240 and am really happy with it other than it has no CD changer. The original window sticker says "CD Ready", it is not a Bose system and I've purchased a MB CD changer for the glove box on e-bay. So far all is good, the console is out, hole punched in the glove box, routed the power line but I'm stumped on the fiber optic cable. I can see black connector on the back of the head unit, (two orange cables)follow the optic lines and they run down next to the trans tunnel then dissapear into somewhere. I was expecting to find a coiled loop terminated to a connector that I would just plug in to the changer?? I've searched around the forum and probably missed it but does anyone have any experience finding the other end of the D2B lines?
Thank you in advance for any suggestions you have.

the fibre optics are daisy chained around vehicle to the various components installed you will need an extra fibre optic cable and a joining connector to enable you to loop in the cd changer to the existing fibre optics
