I was told that I would not be able to change the color of the blinkers that are in the side view mirrors by some owner of a performance shop. Ive seen it done before, so I dont understand how i cannot pull it off. I wanted to change them from yellow to hyper whites. If anyone knows of a place that sells those specific bulbs, or any other info regarding this.....please hit me up

Actually, I found LED conversions for the side mirror blinkers on ebay......they are white LED's and cost about 80 dollars. I wont even bother going to the dealership because I know they are gonna throw me a ridiculous price

Ok, I know this sounds weird,, and may be ignorant of me. However it may be worth a try if they are cheap enough. I haven't taken a good look at the bulbs, but you may have some luck scraping the orange coating off the bulb somehow. I know I had a car once where the coating simply started to peel off or fade off anyways and they became very white. It may not be quite what your going for, but what the heck, if they are only a few bucks you might try it. I wonder what red would look like on those side mirrors...

Ive seen cars wheree the lenses have been either scraped of their color or boiled in hot water to lose their color. It doesnt end up looking good at all, its obvious that the car has been cheaply modified. Personally ill just buy the bulbs and/or replacement lens. If I ever pick up a Honda Civic along the road, ill keep that in mind lol
