Default Shaking at highway speeds

My 1997 C230 shakes at highway speeds, usually noticble over 60mph.

To try and solve the issue, within the last few weeks I replaced all four tires, had the alignment done, and had my mercdes tech look over the car, and he could not find anything.

Does anyone have any clues as to what could cause this? The car has 159,300 miles on it.

Thanks,
Evan

I would make sure the balancing was done right.
Sometimes, the balancing machine needs calibrating first.
I had the same problem and had to go to a different shop that was able to fix it on their first attempt, when the first shop tried 4 times to no avail.
Sometimes you have a bad tire, even if it's brand new.

It could also be bent rims. Fairly common problem on the rubber-band tire types. Should be able to spot the wheel being out of round when you put it on a balancer and start to rotate it...

Nahhh...wouldn't be bent rims, that would've been picked up when the wheels were balanced. I'd bet a dollar to a bag of day old donuts that the mechanic didn't check all that he should've.

If it's shaking at highways speeds as you've stated, I'd be willing to bet that the tie-rod ends need to be replaced, or the Upper Control Arms. You may also want to check the bearings, and stabilizer links. One or all of these components are probable culprits.
