Default Remote Mirrors/Driver's Window Don't Work

First the remote mirrors stopped working. Then the driver's window stopped working. I'm thinking it is the control unit that is in the console. Since it would have to be tested, how do I get to it? Could it be something else?

Sorry. It's a 1997 C230. Yes, both power side mirrors stopped working at the same time and several weeks later the driver's side window stopped as well. As for what I called the control unit, the switches for all windows and the power side mirrors are in the console. Some research at parts sites shows one piece and one site calls it the "window switch, C230, all" and shows a OEM price of $256.00.

Thanks. Can you tell me how to get into the console to replace the part?

remove the plastic trim ring around the shifter with a screwdriver then just grab the wood trim at the top by the ashtray and pull upwards firmly and thats it. i think the switch pack comes out by 2 sliding connections under the window switches slide the connector then pull out connector.
