Default Rear Lip Spoiler Looseing

My after-market rear lip spoiler is loosening. Apparently, the 3M double-sided tape is not holding. Any suggestions other than re-taping it?

Nope, peel the tape off, use a razor scraper to remove it all. Clean the spoiler and the mounting surface with Omni AU MX190 (can get at an automotive paint supply store).

Then clean it all two more times.

Then two more times (get my point - prep is everything)

Make sure it is at least 70f outside.

Position the spoiler, and keep pressure on it for as long as you can.

The tape will be a real pain in the butt to get off. Use only 3m tape. Everything else sucks.

did I mention - prep is everything!

Fred,

It sounds like prepping the surface is the key.

Thanks!
