I please need help getting my cars radio security code since I have it here in Guam and there isn't a dealership. My battery died and thus the radio now wants a security code.....its a 1995 C220 with VIN: WBDHA22EOSF175965
Can someone please check with one of their sources and offer this to me?

Try this. Pull out radio from dash board. Secrurity code should be printed
on sticker that is located on the top of radio. That's how I found mine on my C 230.

dont worry i will send u the code but i need more info its the original Mercedes radio i need to know how many memory bootom and the last 4 numbers from your radio serial number.

I'm not sure the security code is printed on the top of the radio. It doesn't make sense, the reason there is a security code is so the radio will be useless if someone steals it. If the code is printed on the top of the radio, that would be pretty convienient for a thief. Usually Mercedes supplies a silver card (looks like a credit card) with the number printed on it. Obviously it should not be stored inside the vehicle, but with the title etc.

 

I agree with you that security code for radio should not be printed on sticker and put on the top of radio. It does not make sence, but make
sure that was my case. I also have silver card with radio code. At least
I tried to help you out. Could be the difference between C-22O and my
C-230.
