My 99 C280 has been in the shop 2 times in the past year for rust repairs. Today I noticed bubble rust on the lower part of the driver's door. What really gets me the car only has 57K miles and I wash it at least once a week in good weahter and polish and wax it 3 times a years, In the winter I wash it once a month and do the undercarriage each time.
when I went to MBUSA, they didn't want to know anything, rust is covered under the the 4 years factory warranty. My x wife Hyundai has a 100K rust thru warranty and that car is like comparing apples to walniuts or whatever that expression compares.
On the other hand my 79 450SLC is rust free and I am the third owner????
