Have a 2007 C Kompressor. While driving the lights go off, no odomotor reading, and no windshield wipers--they have replace every electrical component possible, then said the key was sending wrong signal.

Gave me a new key----and it did it again about 2 hours later!!!

Any ideas--it is back in the shop

 

i have seen a similar issue like that, the wire harness in the driver seat was chaffed threw and shorting out and the cluster would flicker and flash and click and all the lights would come on and off and then eventually blows a fuse.

but on a benz it could be anything at all. these cars do some weird things since alot of the components are talking to one another and thus all get affected when there is a problem.
