newbee question
Hi,
I was hoping that someone here can give me some advise (or point me to an existing thread in case this has already been covered).
I am looking to replace my gas guzzling SUV with a used C-class (probably between 2002 and 2005) and was hoping for some advise:
* any model years which I should avoid?
* what is better: C320 or a 4-cylinder w/ kompressor?
* any gotchas I should look out for on used vehicles?
* I have two kids (4 and 8 years), will they have enough space on the backsets or do I need an e-class?
* what is the average MPG you get out of a c-class?
Many thanks in advance

RE: newbee question
Hi There,
I have a C240 Y2003. Manual trans. I get an avrage of 18-20MPG in the city and 22-30MPG on freeway with 2.6 V6 engin. The C320 will give you the same MPG. I wished I bought an E class rather then a C class MB. I have heard from good mechanics, that E class is a much better car.
thanks
ken

RE: newbee question
Hello I have the 2002 E320 and if you have kids I would say get an E Class.I have two kids(19 and 13) Both girlsMake sure it is a W210 1996-2002. The W203 C Class is also a great car but if you have kids and need room get the E Class. It powerfull, spacious, very well featured such as(heated seats, climate control, phone) You will also be very surpsied with the MPG with the E Class. On a recent trip down to Florida I got NO LIE! 35MPG WITH AN 2002 E320(4 PEOPLE, AC ON AND TRUNK FULL OF LUGGAGE)I was very happy.
