I went to my local dealer the other day and test drove the new c350 coupe. It featured the new 3.5l V6 dubbed M276. Puts out 305 bhp and revs to 7k rpm if I'm not mistaken. A lovely ride!

Just curious as to whether tuning companies (Brabus, Kleemann, Carlsson) will be tuning this engine soon? I've heard rumors about a baby AMG A or B class featuring a comprex force induced version of this engine. Wondering if it will be an available option for us in our C350 coupes in the future, though I highly doubt it.

But from what I've gathered, neither V8's will make it into the C. Perhaps until the next model comes out in 2014, the 5.5l biturbo will make it's way into the C BUT only after the E63 AMG has it. That said, my buying time frame is within the next couple of months, so I can't be bothered waiting for the new V8s. Sadly, where I live, road tax goes up exponentially with engine capacity, so I am looking at 3.5L max. Bloody government!
