Default New C-class

Can someone point me towards some info/pics on the re-designed C class? Is it going to be released for 2007 or 2008? I just purchased a 06 C230 sport and I for one am fairly upset that I didn't know sooner that they were updating the body style. All this means to me is that I soon will be driving an "old" body style MB and instantly lose thousands in the value of my car. Any feelings on this or any reasons I shouldn't feel like this?

Don't feel like that, enjoy your car. Look, its not really the responsibility of a salesperson to inform you of future models-unless of course you ask them, and then they should tell you.

This may be the 2007 C-Class-at least when I downloaded it that is what I put down as the description.

Wow. You should probably unload that '06 in a hurry, before your friends see you in an "old body style"!

Personally, I bought my '06 230 Sport because I find it to be a lovely design that will stand the test of time.

Previously I had a '97 BMW 318is which was also a fantastic and timeless design and still looked lovel about
15 years after it first hit production in 1992.

I purchased the C230 over the "latest body style" BMW because I do not like the styling of it. So there you go
the "latest body style" is not guaranteed to be an improvement on the previous.

Now, if you are just looking to be seen in the latest MBZ than that is cool too, but you should have done more
research and you would have to wait another year to get one.

Thats true and I don't like the new 3series Beemer either. Come to think of it, I'm not that wild about the above pic of the 2007 C-Class.
Looks as though it took styling cues from the 2006 CLS, which I like in a big sedan.

However, action372 does have a point regarding resale value. When a car company revamps body style, resale value suffers on the older style.

I didn't mean to come off whining and complaining like I can't be seen in an "old" body style mercedes.. I also chose this car over a BMW because I love the way it looks. I am definitely more concerned in the resale value. I am in sales and my business is picking up, the next car I look to getting is either a new M3 when they come out in a few years or a C55 AMG. Either way I stand to lose thousands off the resale value just because there is a more recent body style available which makes the W203 less desirable and valueble.

Yeah, I just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. I could have gotten a brand new mercedes, but for some reason when I test drove the 03 mercedes c240 for the heck of it, I kinda fell in love. Then I found an excellent deal on a very lightly used 02, and it wasn't a 4matic like the other one I drove. I kinda like to be as minimalistic as possible. I also like a good sturdy feeling hood. The new style looks like it lost a little bit of that. I love this car, and I traded in a brand new prius for it. Made money on the deal actually. The piece of mind I get with this car is worth the added fuel expense. The insurance was also cheaper. I suppose the liability for a car that uses 500+volts is a little high. I might change one thing eventually, and that is the headlights. I love having xenon lights, if I do it i'll buy the OEM projector - bi-xenon assembly. I suppose it won't have the leveling feature, but i'll adjust them slightly lower and be careful not to put alot of stuff in the trunk. I hope that this might be helpful
