Hey all - my first 'Benz, and I'm pretty excited about it. Nice car. It's really zippy AND get's great MPG as well!

I've already ordered a set of 18x8.5 wheels (chrome, AMG style) from Eurotech wheels in San Diego. Picture attached.

Some things I'd like to change:

1) This car seriously needs to be able to breath, and fart, much better. Suggestions on air intake and exhaust improvements would be appreciated. Since I just forked out a few days ago for this new ride - emphasis on 'bang for buck' will be appreciated.

2) Quart Halogen lighting is soooo last century. Recommendations on HID / Xenon upgrade kits would be great. Personal experience with any of these would be great.

3) What other performance or asthetic mods have other owners done - or would they suggest?

bump, im wondering the same thing..... who makes a good pulley for the kompressor? and also is tuning needed with this mod?

 

I have the exact same year car. In all the times I have heard this question about the pulley asked on this site, I have never seen anybody respond with an actual answer. Even the MB aftermarket guys have not given a detailed answer on this one. Or I missed it somewhere, and that's possible. So......IF there is a simple pulley change for this car that works, lets hear from the suppliers
with the DETAILS and performance specs, like hp and torque increases on a dyno. I put a K&N filter in the airbox about a year or more ago. Stock exhaust but I know these are available. I didn't want to change that on my car. Just didn't want to buy air filters continuously. What other performance mods you can do I have no idea. There doesn't seem to be a huge market for this car for some reason. Wish I could help.
