Default missfire code

Its a 2002 C240 and a few weeks ago it threw a P0300 code so since it has over 100k on it I changed the plugs and wires, I did notice that one of the coil packs on the front pass side looked like it was covered in oil, it has no oil leaks anywhere just on the top of the coil pack. Could this be the coil pack starting to break down? It did throw the same code today and once it was reset it was fine. I did replace the MAF back in Dec when I bought the car because it threw a code for that. Any help would be greatly appreciated

the oil is from the breather chamber on top of the valve cover. those coils rarely go bad. usually the wires are the problem.

I installed a new set of wires and plugs a few weeks ago and still throws this P0300 code once in a while. But I will say they were not a set of wires from MZB but seem to be fine.
