hi have trouble starting my Mercedes c220 cdi year 2000
had the car parked up for just under a year the battery died one day. went to start it today and it wont start. there is a click and nothing after. was wondering does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong. have done the basic checks as follows
new battery, took the starter motor out checked it to see it is working and and free turning, checked the fly wheel in gear box is free moving, also checked to see did the engine is moving with a socket it turns over. all doors open and close with the key fob and close all elecs working.
