I'm wanting to confirm some of the OEM suppliers to MB, specifically a 2003 MB C240. Do you know of any other ones?
I was told Sachs is the regular shock supplier to regular MB cars Bilstein is used on the AMG models.
As well, does Wurth Or Wuerth supply the bolts/fasteners used in MB?
Does Blaupunkt or Beckers supply the regular audio systems?
I know the gauges on the '01-'04 MB were supplied by VDO (a Bosch subsidiary)
I see these companies listed on the racecars, but wanna know if any of them apply to the roadcars as well. Thanks ahead.

Sachs, Bilstein,Eibach supply MB OE suspension components, Sachs produces Dampers for F1, and many forms of Motor Sport, Bilstein are used in WRC rally cars and are just making their way back into road racing. They did not have a rate adjustable damper for a long time, hence they lost touch with the racing scene. Eibach supplies springs for some special OES MB as well as AMG. Nash cars F1 WRC and most other forms of motor sport

Look at the glass the vendors name is stamped on it, it is the law. Manufactuers use quite a fews vendors for car parts, even one car. There are also aftermarket vendors who make OEM parts APA is one. Go to www.mercedesshop.com, and click on Fastlane on ther main menu. I buy OEM from the major suppliers there and OEM from aftermarket suppliers. I have new inner and outer tie rods with the worm and roller, on my 99 C280, you can change just one side tie rods's. You have to replace both sides and the worn and roller and it is sold in as one piece, assembly. I also have OEM disc and OEM pads coming with the tie rod assembly, both not with Mercedes on them, the disc are Zimmerman's and the pads Mintek's,less dust, but both are considered OEM and cost 1/2 what a dealer charges.
