I just replaced the Neutral Safety Switch in a 1994 C280 and all went well except now I can't remove the keyy from the ignition. The car starts and shuts off fine, but when I put it in park, shut off the engine, I can't remove the key. Any ideas?

You prabably didnt installed the safety switch in properly..Did you press the black button on the switch after you installed it??

 

Iv'e been adjusting it and I'm pretty sure I have it adjusted correctly. I didn't see and black button to push on it. It does have a slight adjusting movement to it and when I go all the way in one direction, I can here a slight grind when I put it in park. When I go from the middle to all the way the other way, it shifts very nicely and starts in neutral and park.. I'll remove it and try again.
