ipod adapter

RE: ipod adapter
There are a bunch available I have Road Trip, the FM convertor plugs into your cigar lighter socketand you tune in 107.7 on the FM or whatever it says on the package as there are different mhz for different areas. you plug the other end into your IPod or MP3 player and it plays thru your radio. The best part it cost $16.00 plus S/H and IMHO works great. Go to www.newertech.com and do a search for Road Trip Fm Modulator. The modulator is built into the cigar plug so it is relatively neat. One tip. the plug is a bit smaller then the ligher socket you might have to pull out the two metal prongs inside the lighter plug, DON'T USE ANYTHING THAT IS MADE OF METAL. I use a ice cream pop stick. to tighten the Road Trip plug. If you smoke, bring along a lighter, as to get the Road trip plug tight your lighter might no pop out. That is the only fault I find. My cell phone car charger has the same problem, Mercedes on the C Class W202 used a larger then normal lighter and socket. Why? Only Das Germans

RE: ipod adapter
that Road Trip looks good, but how does it affect battery life? the iTrip will drain a fully charged battery in 45 minutes w/o the charger so i'm curious. i think i would just pay $30 for the all in 1 pack. PM me and let me know.
