Default how to work the built in phone?

I just got my c320, 2003 sorry if I sound like a noob, I am.

If I push buttons on the steering wheel the dash eventually says "NO PHONE"

I assume it's some sort of blue toothconnection type thing, how do I set that up?

Hi there,
Phone is an option that you pay to have it installedat the dealer. I bought my C240 2003 at the dealer new, and I think the phone option was around $1500-$2000, I thinK!!!
thanks

I called my local dealer about this same issue. My C230 is a 2004, and during that time cellular service was primarly analog. In general cellular providers have switched to GSM service for reliability and better overall function with things like internet, texting functions,ect...

To get your system operating you would require a conversion kit that the dealer would install for about $1,500.

I decided to just use a bluetooth headset instead. I'm cheap

Good luck!

seems like it would be better to get an aftermarket radio with blue tooth functionality vs spending all that money for mercedes accessories.
