does anybody know how to replace the front low beam bulb for a 2005 c230??
i know theres a round plastic covor behing the light, i took it off and now i dont know what to do.. i tried pulling it out a few times and twisting it out but it didn't work.. can someone tell the the correct way to do this?? would i have to take the whole headlight out and take the front lenses off??or could i just take the plasic covor off the back of theheadlightand pull the lightbulb out and replace it? help me please ppl and thanks!

non xenon.. my left low beam went out so i need to replace it with a new bulb

 

only by opening the cover.

then unclip the retaining clip which seats/push the bulb base against the reflector.

it's just like a hook that holds it in place.

 

oh i see.. thanks alot... just one question.. will i have to un screw anything to replace this bulb?? i tried unscrewing alot of things lol... lost a bolt to. gona have to pick up a new one.. stupid me

 

no tools is needed : nothing to unscrew
