I believe there's something out there by Meguiars or Eagle One... it's in a spray bottle and depending if you have aluminum, chrome, or polise rims, they have something out there. All you do is spray it on your rims, let it sit for about 2-3 minutes depending on how dirty they are and PRESTO... they'll look really nice. Good luck

FU** all those chemical sprays.Get white rubbing compound.Light duty. Benz rims are painted and cleared ,like the body. The brake dust bakes in after long time,no cleaning.Use the rubbing compound with a wet applicator and rub' em out good. It'll take 'bout two hours for the four rims.Rinse regularly to see where you missed until they are to your satisfaction. Then wax them with heavy duty wax. After this process,if u wash them regularly like the rest of the car(weekly or so),they will come right clean without scrubbing. If you letthe dust cook on there long enough,it will stick again.Peace.

I had my two front wheels off the other day replacing my front brake pads, since I had them off I took the opportunity to clean them. I have a 2003 C230 Sports Coupe.
I used the same cleaner I use on the rest of the car, MOTHERS pre wax cleaner, did a very good job. Then Mothers polish and finally the Motherscarnuba wax.It takes some good elbow grease but does a fine job. Then keep ahead of the game with weekly cleaning. I also cleaned the inside of the wheels, they were very dirty and stained.
I will do the rear wheels as soon as it warms up here, east coast Canada. Although it is + 7 C. here today. Forecast is - 12 Con Wednesday.
Good luck with your wheels, I agree with previous comment I stay away from all the chemicals as much as possible. I would not use rubbing compound at all, it is fairly aggressive. Just my opinion.
Cheers,
