The cd changer will be installed in the glovebox of the vehicle. look on the left of the inside of the box and you will see a small rectange that is perforated lightly and can be broken out to allow the harness to run through it. The most difficul thing will be locating the 3 pin power and d2b harness which can be located behind the radio or commonly taped to the passenger side of the transmission tunnel and can be accessed by pulling away the carpet around the passenger side trans tunnel under the center console (easy). routing the harness will be a difficult part. You cannot bend the d2b fibre optic cable beyond i'd say 60 degrees or else it will break. I don't believe that you will have to modify the d2b ring because I am doubtful that there are any other accessories on the ring (i.e. amplifier, tele-aid). The d2b will have a red led at the end and a white led looking end. The cd changer is mounted to the braket and the braket is retained by only one t20 torx screw in the glovebox. The radio is supposed to be version coded for cd changer for diagnosis and correct operation. Some will not work unless coded. It really has to be done at the dealer, sorry.
