Hole in Hose..Safe to Drive?
My '05 C230 Kompressor was back firing and acting like it was going to shut off. I took it to Auto Zone and they gave me about 6 different codes with their diagnostic machine. I took it to the repair shop on Friday and they told me I had a hole in an air hose but they couldnt get to it that same day because it was too late in the day and the engine was too hot. He asked me if I wanted to leave my car over the weekend and pick it up on Monday or take it and bring it back on Monday. I took my car because I had just paid them over $3,000 in September for some unecessary work done on my 3 series BMW I had before this car. My question is, is it safe to drive my car in this condition? I really have the money for the repair bill until Thursday and I have no other means of transportation. Will I be doing more damage by driving it until Thursday?

there is a recall campaign on that car for the vent hoses. it recently came out.it will be covered. you should go check it out at the dealership. dont have another shop do the fix take it to the dealership.
