HID Conversion problems
I bought an HID kit and installed it last night. Everything was working fine and then this morning they just stopped working. I was tinkering around with the light switch trying to turn them off and on to see if i could get them to warm up, nothing accept a flicker. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

RE: HID Conversion problems
From what I've read here on the boards, you'll need the dealer to reprogram it. I forget the reason why but has something to do with the temps that HID's burn at.
I've been looking into HID kits myself and according to the vendor (site partner and moderator), his kit is plug and play with no reporgraming issues.
Try a search of "HID" and you should find the various other topics related to this same issue.

This kit was supposed to be plug and play as well. The seller is telling me that the chip in the ballast is bad or that i need a relay cord? Anyone else experience problems similar?
I feel like i am being sold additioanl Sh** that should have been included in the orginal order.

RE: HID Conversion problems
Is it flickering on both low-beams? If so, then it is most likely that you need dealer programming. If not, then it could be a faulty ballast.
Our HID kits are designed so that they won't flicker nor require dealer programming. However, there are other aftermarket HID kits that are not designed in such way.

RE: HID Conversion problems
My headlights work at night. In the day or at dusk they flicker and try to turn on but never do. I assume it is the computer that wont allow them to turn on until it is dark enough. They work fine in the evening.
